Services & Techniques

At Concordia Chiropractic Center, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic, rehabilitatation, and wellness care to our patients. Below is a sampling of the different services we offer in our office.

Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have physicians been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are safer, more comfortable, and more effective than ever before. Dr. Jason Lindekugel has years of training and experience in spinal adjustments, exercise therapy, and healthy nutrition/lifestyle changes. We are happy to announce the addition of Dr. Bradley Chmelar, DC, to our staff, who brings specialized training in chiropractic manipulation, myofascial release techniques (including cupping and instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation), and movement therapy rehabilitation techniques.

Massage Therapy

We believe that massage therapy and chiropractic care are the perfect combination.  You can benefit in a number of ways by adding massage therapy to your chiropractic care program.  Recovery is normally faster and more complete when you address multiple components of your pain.  Chiropractic treatment often proceeds more easily and with less discomfort when soft tissue has been relaxed with massage.  Adjustment effects frequently last longer when muscle tension is released that might otherwise pull your joints out of alignment again.  Massage is a powerful tool for helping you become aware of areas of chronic tension or postural problems.  Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after a massage, you are less likely to slip into patterns of tension that can contribute to soft tissue problems and restricted joint ranges of motion.

Individual Yoga Therapy Sessions

Alison Alstrom and Dr. Lindekugel, DC, have enjoyed collaboration around movement and healing since 2012.  Alison has a unique understanding of alignment as it relates to injuries and the challenges of healthy movement.  She has led training for yoga teachers as well as regular classes held at The People's Yoga.

Movement Therapy

Our doctors provide individual exercise and rehabilitation strategies for decreasing pain, increasing balance/proprioception, and increasing core strength to relieve both chronic and acute pain. They also work with athletes ready to take it to the next level in their endeavors. Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), an innovative approach to movement based on developmental kinesiology, has recently been implemented into rehabilitation protocols as the clinic.

Physiotherapy

To complement and enhance the healing effects of your specific chiropractic adjustment treatment, we also provide the following physiological therapeutic procedures:

  • Ultrasound
  • Interferential electrical muscle stimulation
  • Mechanical traction
  • Cryotherapy
  • Moist heat therapy

  • An Apple a Day . . .

What is so good about an apple? Is it the color, ranging from ruby red to pale pink? Is it the crunch? The sweetness? Or is it, instead, a combination of all of these qualities, plus the natural goodness derived from the apple's secret ingredients — phytonutrients? If this were a multiple choice quiz, the answer would be "all of the above". Importantly, in addition to possessing numerous appealing physical qualities, apples contain an abundance of health-promoting biochemicals known as phytonutrients.1,2 These specific organic molecules are derived not only from apples but many other fresh fruits and vegetables, and help power the immune system, protect against cancer, maintain healthy eyes, and assist cells in clearing out metabolic waste products such as free radicals. ...
